WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Accounts Receivable Manager, you will lead the credit and collections activities for CPI’s back office business (formerly known as Cummins Allison).  

The AR Manager will have a direct impact on our finance group, responsible for:

  • Manages credit and collection activities such as following up with past due accounts, credit risk monitoring, new customer set up, regular customer credit evaluations and keeps track of cash receipts.
  • Communicates effectively and maintains a professional relationship with external and internal customers.
  • Successfully leads account receivable team and oversees the credit and cash management activities.
  • Leads Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and reinforces internal controls.
  • Leads, motivates, and develops talent within the organization including, but not limited to, immediate direct reports by coaching, counseling, engaging, and evaluating associate performance through the Crane intellectual capital process.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives and drives business processes improvements via Crane business system.
  • Manages external and internal auditor relationships to facilitate completion of audit procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports including cash flow
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You will bring proven credit and collections experience with well demonstrated success in management and process improvement

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience and at least 4 years of managerial experience in credit and collections.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
  • Must have advanced experience in managing credit function within an environment of strong internal controls.
  • Technology skilled. Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft office applications and working knowledge of any major ERP system is required.
  • Excel at managing multiple priorities, within tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of staff management and superior project management skills.
