WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all building systems and equipment are operating efficiently.  Resolve issues that arise to keep building maintenance activities running smoothly and facilitate repairs in a timely manner.  This role will require a partnership with other team members to ensure a consistent high level of quality and productivity.

• Supervises and coordinates general maintenance of the facility, equipment, and machinery
• Oversees staff that performs masonry, painting, electrical, carpentry, toolmaking, and machine shop work
• Estimates hours required to complete tasks, prepares work schedules, assigns work assignments, and inspects completed projects to ensure work meets quality standards
• Explore new technologies to aid in the redesign to simplify our processes and eliminate waste
• Assist Mechanical and Electrical departments with troubleshooting
• Contribute to development of processes and procedures
• Maintain work within framework of OSHA &NEC guidelines
• Maintain focus on continuous improvement through researching and sourcing innovative, cost-efficient business solutions
• Work with OEM's contractors and subcontractors to complete projects in timely fashion, schedule contractors for annual services

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications and  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferred Engineering; 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in corrective maintenance, management, planning, and preventive maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations
• Familiarity with basic computer programs for record keeping
