WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The role of Sales Manager Convenience Services:

  • Be a key member of the team responsible for driving growth of CPI’s solutions within targeted vending distributors and operators, while establishing multi-tiered relationships and a clear understanding of the areas of value creation.
  • Play a pivotal role in the development & expansion of our key relationships, while building and implementing sales strategies.
  • Provide sales expertise required to grow the current business and prospect for new business.
  • Sell our solutions to new and existing customers, achieving profitable growth and sales targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

This is your chance to join our winning sales team and be part of the ambitious growth plans of our organization. In this newly formed team, you will be part of shaping our team and strategy while building on the strong base we have as CPI and growing within the CPI organization. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans and tactical account plans to support successful achievement of the channel goals within your assigned region.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for opportunities within sales territory including initial introduction and communication, web-based and onsite presentations, quotation presentment and closure. 
  • Build a sales pipeline through lead generation activities, assisted by inbound marketing efforts.
  • Continuously improving the quality of the company’s market position and brand image through professional, value-based sales presentations. 
  • Collaborating with across internal functional groups to develop and improve business processes, products, marketing initiatives, advertising, and promotion.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Additional education or postgraduate work is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in new business sales focused on building relationships with accounts and delivering a consistent yet evolving message of value, ideally within the retail or hospitality  space.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, articulate the distinct aspects of products and services, and position products against competitors.
  • Evidence of sales success through planning, organization, and resource utilization, including by building relationships and delivering a consistent yet evolving message of value
  • Demonstrated ability or commitment to learn to effectively communicate the value proposition through financial/ROI analyses in proposals and presentations while conducting win/loss interviews and sharing feedback for continuous improvement
  • Proven market, opportunity analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and sell to all levels of an organization.
  • Proven track record of driving and improving personal results while supporting organizational goals and objectives.
  • Desire to collaborate with peers globally across functions to share and improve one another’s knowledge.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, oral, and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Willing to travel 50%-75%
