WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The Compliance, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for:

Ensuring that CPI Coventry are fully compliant with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, ISO 9001/27001. Health and Safety regulations, Import and Export as it pertains to Europe following Brexit, International Trade regulations in line with CPI and global Legal directives.

General Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Handle queries relating to import/export of machines and parts, or people travelling abroad.
  • Ensure accurate completion of customs documents required for import/export.
  • Ensure effective procedures are maintained for importing and exporting processes.
  • Ensure shipments progress in timely manner and any issues are resolved.
  • Ensure accurate product data relevant to shipping is maintained, e.g. commodity codes, country of  origins, measurements, etc.
  • Help select appropriate suppliers using the supplier selection process.
  • Ensure ISO actions are kept up-to-date and completed on schedule
  • Write procedures to ISO standard as required.
  • Ensure Internal and External ISO audits are completed as needed.
  • Monitor information security to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organisation’s information.
  • Support data protection and queries relating to data protection.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in legislation and regulation that affects the company.
  • Maintain the accuracy of policies and procedures in line with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with wider Crane/CPI organisation policy.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of Navision.
  • Ensure communication to associates is sufficient to maintain awareness of compliance issues

Manage Health & Safety team to ensure:

  • Health & Safety documentation is accurately maintained, understood, and followed by all associates.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies.
  • Contractor H&S requirements are fully met, to include.
  1. SafeContractor.
  2. Avetta.
  3. Others as requested by Customers.
  •  Adhere to information security requirements to ensure the security of the company’s data.
  • Respond to incoming calls and e-mails efficiently and accurately.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports for the business and customers as required.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

An established Compliance Manager with Health and Safety Qualifications and experience. ISO Auditor accreditation and the ability to lead Direct reports and both the ISO and H&S teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum Nebosh NGC3 along with 2-3 years H&S experience.
  • ISO 9001, 27001, Auditor Accreditation.
  • A proven track record of ISO accreditation.
